Maintenance log
Our service technicians visit many buildings on a daily basis for the maintenance of extinguishing agents and emergency lighting. This visit is concluded with a clear maintenance report that is sent to you free of charge. This report can be expanded very inexpensively with a clear logbook, for more insight into your safety.

What are the benefits of a logbook?
- You meet the requirement of the 2012 Building Decree
- Insight into maintenance costs
- Can be used as a "walking list"
- Overview of all your safety equipment
- Multi-year budget

Is the maintenance report insufficient?
The logbook goes further than the maintenance report. If required, the Saval service technician can keep a log during the annual maintenance of your extinguishing agents. You can use this logbook to get a good insight into your extinguishing agent file and possibly use it for a multi-year budget (in that case ask for the more complete budget logbook). You thereby also immediately meet the requirement of the 2012 Building Decree. In more and more cities this logbook is used by the fire brigade to see if you have met your obligation.
How does it work?
If you use our logbook service, we will go through a few steps to arrive at a clear result. In the first maintenance year, our service technician applies a barcode sticker to the safety equipment. Your safety devices are scanned by the PDA and are assigned an age and location in our system. The following year we can see very quickly what was done about the device last year and whether, for example, there are no safety devices missing compared to the year before.
In short:
- The service technician carries out the maintenance.
- He registers this via his PDA.
- Your maintenance data is sent digitally to Saval.
- You will receive the logbook by post and email.
All units that our service technician maintains with you are listed. So not only fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and emergency lighting, but also fire blankets, AEDs, check valves and eye wash bottles.
