PM powder extinguisher (D)
The Saval PM12 powder extinguisher combines the advantages of the P-series powder extinguisher with effective and safe extinguishing of metals (fire class D), such as aluminum, sodium, magnesium, potassium, zirconium and lithium. Due to the extremely high temperature and the highly reactive character of the fuel, metal fires are impossible to extinguish with traditional fire extinguishers. In fact, they usually aggravate the problem. The PM powder extinguisher is frost-resistant up to 30 degrees Celcius below zero.
The Saval PM powder extinguisher is available in a 12 kilogram version.
- This powder extinguisher contains a special combination of sodium chloride extinguishing salts, which offers an exceptional extinguishing power for metal fires (fire class D);
- No lump formation due to the use of a rupture disc and riser, as a result of which the extinguishing powder loosens freely before use;
