Line detection

Line detection is extremely suitable for keeping large and high spaces fire-safe. There are two different types of line detection systems.

Optical line detection

Optical line detection consists of detectors (beams) that use an infrared beam and function separately or together. The detectors respond to smoke particles and refraction: bending of a light beam due to temperature.

Thermal line detection

Thermal line detection is a cable connected to an intelligent mechanism that responds to temperature increases. The cable is often made of fiber optic or copper and can be up to a few hundred meters long.
