FC foam extinguisher (AF)
The Saval F6C foam extinguisher is the extinguisher for grease fires (Fire Class F). As soon as fat (grease) reaches a temperature of about 350°C, it will spontaneously ignite and cannot be extinguished with normal extinguishing agents. Saval has developed a special extinguishing agent that allows frying fat and oil to be extinguished: Bioclass AF. This fire extinguisher quickly forms a thick covering foam layer on the hot grease, so that the flames are removed in a very short time. Bioclass AF then cools the superheated fat effectively, preventing re-ignition. The F6C is also available with a special stainless steel spray extender. This gives the user another half-meter extra distance to the fat / oil fire to be extinguished.
The Saval Bioclass FC Foam extinguisher is available in a 6 litre version.
